2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R into the open-class battle in ’04, his arrival did not really go unnoticed. Conversely then sneak in the shadows of the past. The ZX went on to conquer the urban areas to beat the competition into submission at our inaugural Superbike Smackdown, with a combination of motor-threatening and razor sharp handling made ??for an interesting journey together on the road or track. For 2007 this once proud warrior pretty much the same, although slightly more benign than the original.
Although the 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has won a shootout magazines around the world and receive a full-scale makeover in 2006, it was not enough to live with hope in a horse race. In both World Superbike and AMA competition 10R only has one race win to credit and Chris Walker were on hand during the TT Assen flooded. It is difficult to understand how a bike with so much going for it on paper does not make an impact on the track, but that the facts as we see.
Viewed from our point of view during this year’s test track at Buttonwillow the 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is still an absolute blast to ride, although we found fussy crew error. This of course is still in the ballpark thanks to the added value components including the clutch shoes are very good, Ohlins steering damper, a decent suspension and, of course, motorcycles.
Kawasaki ZX-10R may not be quite as raw and unrefined as the original but still need fine hand throttle up effectively on the street or track because they do not suffer fools too well. Kawasaki Keep on boiling and you are in for an adrenaline-filled journey of change. Power wheelies, slides, and a hand pump all standard fare in this unruly beast.
