The main frame and swingarm pivot elements cast as a single unit, with welded eliminated wherever possible to look more aesthetic. And the subframe is lightweight aluminum die-casting, a light, delicate and beautiful. Suspension at both ends is really modern and functional mischievous: a, inverted fork is fully adjustable 41mm front grease and spring preload and rebound damping adjustable back-link horizontal shock mounted above the swingarm to protect from hot exhausts and grow the added degree of mass centralization. The control wheel just great, and substantial feedback sent to the rider makes it easy to know exactly what happened in the contact patch of the motor.

The heart of every naked bike is the engine, so Kawasaki engineers paid special attention here for maximum impact, the arm-straightening: Dual cams. Sixteen valves. 1043 cc. Coolant. High compression. A stroke length – 56mm – for instant thrust. Six speed. And a digital fuel injection. Everything is there.

Check out the five-spoke wheels with Z, with the fingers near the machine to see custom rims. We carry forward the theme of quad-pipes from the last Z1000 (and the first Z-1), but under-engine pre-chamber mufflers enables engineers to use short to look great and better mass centralization. A mountain of solid aluminum handlebar and footpegs removed from the Ninja ZX 10R contribute to the quality of the Z1000, top-shelf feel. Brakes? Absolutely modern: radial mount calipers, Ninja-spec 300mm petal-type rotors and radial master cylinder pump provides all the latest in braking feel and feedback.MSRP: $10,999 USD.
