Switchback new Dyna motorcycles from Harley-Davidson is a quick-change artist. With color-matched saddle bags of his hard and fork-mounted windshield in place, the Switchback is a custom touring bike. But in a second, removable saddlebags and a quick-detach windshield can be removed without tools. Now Switchback is a special way with a car headlamp nacelle gleaming, five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels and a mini-ape handlebar. When it came time to go for a long weekend, simply reinstall the saddle bags and windshield, and the Switchback ready to roll to the state line.

Switchback is powered by a Twin Cam 103 engine V-Twin muscle that gives a strong performance on the highway and the highway. Switchback is a custom lightweight touring bike in the category of displacement, and at 718 pounds ready to ride is 94 pounds lighter than Harley-Davidson Road King. The new front-end geometry, premium suspension components, front and low-profile tires give the Switchback ride and responsive handling luxury. “The geometry of a new front end, wheel and tire specifications, and fork cartridges are engineered to work together to produce a lighter wheel and immediately responsive to input,” Brian Scherbarth, Switchback lead project engineer. “Journey demo will reveal that the Switchback is capable touring bike that is also really fun to ride.”
